CONTAINER USE

SHIPPING AND STORAGE CONTAINER USES

Shipping containers have numerous applications and are extensively utilized in the shipping and storage industries. The market for shipping container conversions is expanding annually as both businesses and individuals increasingly recognize the versatility of modified shipping containers.

If you need a shipping container for overseas transport, we recommend the industry standard sizes of 40ft or 20ft. If your container will be used for shipping, please inform us so we can provide a container with the necessary CSC plate. We offer both new and used containers. Our used containers are highly reliable for shipping and can be used for several years without issues. New containers are an excellent choice if you require long-term use and prioritize the container’s visual appearance.

Catering conversions are gaining popularity. Check out some of our recent projects, including a 10ft bespoke coffee shop container, a 20ft pizzeria, and a new towable catering container. Containers are ideal for catering units, providing ample space for food production and secure storage when not in use. We have converted various sizes for catering purposes, from compact 10ft units to full-size 20ft containers. Customizations depend on client requirements, but standard conversions typically include dry lining, electrical and lighting installations, plumbing for a sink, and a serving hatch or window. If you need more information on catering conversions, feel free to contact us.

Secure storage is another prevalent use for shipping containers. Many of our containers, including standard height and high cube options, are ideal for storage needs. The right size and type of container will depend on the storage space required and the available area. Smaller containers are particularly popular for storage as they offer a much more secure alternative to garden sheds. Containers are commonly used on construction sites for storing tools and building materials. Our new Flat Pack Containers are also a popular choice for storage, especially in locations with limited access. These containers can be easily maneuvered into place without the need for a standard HIAB crane, making them perfect for tight spaces.

The versatile shipping container can be transformed into almost anything, making it an excellent base product for specialized uses. One prime example is converting a container into an exhibition stand. Using a shipping container as the foundation for an exhibition stand offers numerous advantages: it can be easily transported to and from venues via a HIAB-assisted vehicle, provides secure overnight storage during events, ensures security between events, and offers a highly functional and practical unit while in use. Check out one of our recent exhibition stand conversions to see the potential of these innovative solutions.
